Shawn Bowman had back problems at the end of May and he and the Mets were talking about a surgery that would make him miss the beginning of next season even. I read somewhere that Alay Soler was in a boot for his calf in Norfolk. He was toughing it out at the MLB level, but decided to heal before pitching in the minors. Others I'm not sure about. I'll see what I can find.
