Michael Tucker was the only Tide with two hits, and his double was the only extra base hit among the Tides six.
Evan MacLane was touched for seven runs on eight hits in four innings. Two of the eight hits he gave up were bombs.

A leadoff HR from Fernando Martinez put the Suns up 1-0 in the first, but the Giants Julian Benavidez answered back with a two run shot off Bobby Parnell in the second inning. Parnell otherwise was strong allowing three runs, two earned in his six innings. He fanned four and walked two.
