Wilson Batista led the B-Mets attack with 3-4 night that included a solo HR in the bottom of the first inning. Shortstop Corey Ragsdale was 2-2 with a run scored. Both Ambio Concepcion and Carlos Gomez were 1-3, although Gomez drove home a run.
Atop the hill, Mike Devaney gave up two runs on four hits in 5.1 IP, but he walked four.

The Manatees scored twice off Philip Humber in the second inning to take a 2-0, but that was all they got against the big righty who dealt six innings. He allowed only those two runs on three hits. He walked two and struck out two.
Jon Niese had one of his worst outings of the season yielding season highs in runs (7) and HR (3) in his six innings of work.
The Suns scored two runs in the first on an RBI groundout from catcher Raphael Arroyo and a wild pitch, but didn’t score again until the bottom of the fifth when the score was already 6-2. Nick Evans was 2-5 and the only Sun with more than one hit.

Nelson Portillo gave up two runs in his four innings of work. He walked two, and gave up seven hits without striking out a batter, suggesting the damage could have been much worse.

LHP Todd Privett, who BA claims hit 91-92 this spring as an amateur, had his best outing as a pro dealing four one run innings with three strikeouts. Yousef Frias followed with four more scoreless two hit innings.
The Mets outhit the Twins 7-4 but couldn’t find an equalizing run. RF Donald Green was 2-3 while DJ Wabick and catcher Joshua Thole were each 2-4.
